July 24, 2008

According to The Pulse of Radio, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE frontman Josh Homme has once again gotten behind the drum kit for his other band, the EAGLES OF DEATH METAL, whose third album, "Heart On", arrives on October 21. Homme and guitarist/singer Jesse Hughes started the group several years ago, with a debut called "Peace Love and Death Metal" arriving in 2004 and a sophomore effort titled "Death by Sexy" surfacing in 2006.

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE will play a tribute concert for late keyboardist Natasha Shneider next month in Los Angeles, before heading to England for two festival dates.

The EAGLES OF DEATH METAL will kick off a co-headlining tour with the HIVES on September 16 in Austin, Texas.
